A trailblazer is defined as the first person to do something or go somewhere, who shows that it's possible for other people. In the world of business for women, a trailblazer is a women who creates a path to find success. She is the woman who refuses to take no for an answer.  She was told that she couldn't and wouldn't succeed. She is strong. She is dedicated. She is fierce.

Welcome KNOW Calgary. KNOW is an annual publication featuring dynamic women from virtually every industry. Showcasing the best and the brightest, these women are proven leaders, high producers and rising stars. Brittany Kolba is the KNOW Calgary Ambassador. Kolba moved from the energy sector into beauty industry, leading over 500 women globally. Clearly falling under the trailblazer title, Kolba has been awarded top in sales and was hand selected for the Global Advisory board in 2017 for Canada. But what drives Kolba is her desire to connect with the movers and shakers.

I spoke with Kolba about KNOW Calgary, who's excited about the introduction of the publication in Calgary. There's still time to nominate a trendsetter, influencer and a woman on the rise. Nominations are open until July 15th. Calgary is full of movers and shakers! Embrace your greatness! Get to know KNOW Calgary.
