Opportunity

When
opportunity knocks it’s easy to give it a try. But, what if opportunity isn’t
knocking? You keep waiting for it to happen. Sometimes we ask the Universe for
a sign or an opportunity, but we don’t see it, hear it or feel it.
What
if your opportunity comes from you creating it? You may or may not have heard
of the term carpe diem. It’s a Latin phrase that means seize the day. The saying
is used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little
thought to the future.
For
a moment, be in the present and create your own opportunity and enhance the
opportunity. When you move the opportunity forward you are increasing the probability
of the opportunity to come to fruition.
But how do you do this? How do you
create your own opportunity? You may need to take a step back, be in the moment
and analyze where you are now and where you want to be.
If you know what steps
you need to take, to be where you want to be, see the opportunity. Once you can
identify the opportunity you can work your way to it. But, an opportunity is
just that if you don’t take steps to making it happen. If you only look at the opportunity
from afar, it may turn into a missed opportunity. The only way opportunities
will work in your favor is if you have the drive to make them happen. Drive may
just be your opportunity. If you have the will to make it happen, it’s an
opportunity that won’t have the chance to slip away.
Do
the work, see the opportunity, follow through and be come the best you know
how.
