Live in the NOW

You
know the saying, the past is behind you and the future is tomorrow, so live in
the now! It’s easier said and done. As the past is what makes us who we are
today and we all live for the future. But, what if you took a moment to live in
the now? Try it. You’re here now, reading this as the world goes on around you.
This is a moment to be all about you.
How
do you feel? How do you look? Take a deep breath in. Deep breath out. Think
about your whole self from head to toe. By taking this time to be in the moment
you’re validating your whole being. Yes, you know that there are things from
the past that need to be healed in order to move forward to the future. But you
won’t get there if you don’t live in this moment right now.
Being
fully present in each moment allows you to focus. Worrying about the past won’t
get you anywhere, it’s in the past. Worrying about the future only creates
stress and builds up anxiety. If you place yourself in the present you’ll be
able to focus on the task at hand and be fully aware of where you are, where
you came from and where you want to go.
Today’s
world is full of distractions. Life happens in the now and if there are too
many things going on, slow down and finish one thing at a time. Instead
worrying about all the things you need to get done in the future, put your
effort into what you’re doing now, then move onto the next task. Live in the
now, be in the moment. Let life happen as it’s happening instead of trying to
control how it’ll look and feel in the future. One of the best ways to be the
best you know how is to live in the now.
