Candy Buy Back For The Troops and Calgary Food Bank

Excessive Halloween candy that stays in your pantry for months on end isn't good for anyone. Especially if you're the one who picks at it for months. A better idea is to get the kids to pick out their favourite candy and donate the rest!

Dr. Kowalchuck from ConfiDental wants your candy for their "Candy Buy Back" program. November 1 - November 3 you can bring in your sacks of candy at #302, 10601 Southport Road S.W. They will pay you $1 per pound of treats, up to 5 pounds PLUS your children will receive a goodie bag filled with awesome treats, and a chance to win a Kid's Sonicare Toothbrush.

The candy will be donated to "Home Sweet Home" to Canadian peacekeeping troops overseas and to the Calgary Food Bank.

You can listen to Christina Rowsell interview with Dr. Kowalchuck here.
