If you recall, a while ago I told you about 100 Women Who Care!  It was a story on Why Women Love To Give Back.  It's in our genes I think.  It's in our core to give back.  But finding the right organization to give your money to is not easy.

We all have situations in life that put us in front of organizations that allow us to give to the charities that mean the most to us.  But what if you wanted to do more?  What if you wanted your money to go further to make a bigger difference?  What if you had $100 to give to one charity?  A $100 donation is a substantial amount of money.  BUT what if you could make that money go further?

It's happening.  This is the biggest donation yet from 100 Women Who Care in Calgary.  Back in September, 100 Women Who Care met for one hour.  Together they chose to support the SAS Program at Renfrew Educational Services with their biggest cash donation to date!  Nearly $15,000 was donated!  Of course if you do the math, there were more than 100 women who donated $100.  That's the best part.  It's now grown into 100 Women OR MORE!

On hand to receive the donation was Janice McTighe.  Janice founded Renfrew Educational Services 40 years ago and she is as passionate as ever.  Janice has centred her life's work on her condition that "Every child is reachable and no child should live without hope and dignity."  The SAS Program serves children ages 3-6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  You can read more here www.renfreweducation.org.

That brings the first years total to $44,650 for Calgary charities!  Exceeding their original goal for $40,000.

Congratulations ladies!  So if you want to see your charity dollars exceed your expectations, be a part of 100 Women Who Care in your community.
