Cancer Chic’s efforts in the programs we offer for young women with cancer,”
says Karla.
Cancer Chic was an idea that was borne while Karla was
undergoing chemotherapy treatments. She
recognized there was a gap in the programs offered to for young women with
cancer.
The women who attend the workshops are between the ages of 20
- 50 and are at various stages of a cancer diagnosis. The focus is to
provide relevant and timely information about survivorship, chemical free
make-up and beauty products, hair loss, plus fitness during and after treatment.
The facilitators, cancer survivors and specialists, deliver upbeat and
realistic stories about their own personal cancer journeys.
